Australia – Don Cameron
Don is a senior lecturer in rural management at the University of Queensland, based mainly at the Gatton campus. He has bachelor and master degrees in Rural Science (UNE), graduate diplomas in agricultural economics (UNE) and tertiary education (USQ), and a PhD from UQ. He teaches courses in farm and rural business management and in natural and agrifood systems. Since completing his PhD in 2000 he has been involved in supervision of numerous research students, many from developing countries in Africa and south-east Asia. His research interests are in the fields of farmer decision making and financial management, extension and education, and farm systems sustainability. He has attended IFMA congresses since 1991 and is an enthusiastic supporter of the organisation and the many benefits it provides to members. His personal interests include bushwalking and photography, and supporting Australian sporting teams and any team playing England.
